Diabetes and Oral Health

How often during the day do you take a moment to think about your health and the possible risks you are putting your body through?

Many of our activities alter the state of our health, yet so many people believe they will be one of the lucky ones and don’t take the time and effort to work on changing behaviors. 

Consider this your wakeup call! Stress, long days, unhealthy eating and lack of exercise are all risk factors to developing diabetes. Take a good look at your daily routine and consider ways that you can make healthy changes without drastically disrupting your day.

Taking the stairs instead of the elevator, ordering the chicken sandwich without mayo for lunch, and even brushing your teeth twice daily are healthy habits you could adopt to be one step closer to a healthy lifestyle!
